VASCO: PWD Minister Sudin Dhavalikar on Wednesday claimed that people have been misled on approach road in Vasco connecting the Mormugao Port (part of NH17 B project).
“In fact people are misinformed about the approach road and hence they are opposing the same, which the state PWD has planned to connect NH17 B from Vasco. Actually, the approach road will be used by the vehicular traffic to come out of Vasco and not to enter the town. This provision was planned for free outward movement of traffic but due to some confusion, people and Vasco MLA Carlos Almeida have started opposing this approach road at its planned location,” Dhavalikar said.
