A hard-hitting digital campaign has been
launched by Goa TMC in response to what it called the “Chief Minister Pramod
Sawant’s audacious demand asking people to thank him” for guess what …….just
doing his job. On Saturday, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant had complained that
the media had not thanked him nor the Prime Minister for slashing fuel prices.
He said, ‘You did not congratulate me. Petrol price has been reduced by Rs 12
and diesel prices by Rs 17. You should have congratulated me and Modi Ji.’
In a befitting reply, Goans have decided to
congratulate CM Sawant for destroying Goa, in their own unique way, Goa TMC
said. Goans across the 40 Assembly Constituencies were seen holding placards to
highlight their plight. From law and order, unemployment, corruption, potholes,
or complete destruction of the economy, Goans are making sure that Chief
Minister Sawant gets his due and is recognised as the chief minister, who
destroyed the state completely, TMC said.
In a message put out on AITC Goa twitter
handle, a child is seen holding a poster and standing in front of huge garbage
dump and two cattle feeding on the garbage. The poster reads, “Thank you CM
Pramod ji for ensuring a clean and healthy childhood…. Another photo shows a
youth standing infront of a pothole, with a poster which read, “Thank you CM
Pramod ji for destroying road and for potholes, jobs, women’s safety, economy
and education.
A third photo shows a young woman holding a
poster which reads, “Thank you Pramod Sawant for not protecting us (women).”
TMC ended with a warning, that the
countdown for the BJP’s anti-people govt has begun and it will be shown the
exit door.
