VASCO: Criticising the municipal ward reservation mess, Panchayat Minister Mauvin Godinho on Tuesday said the people should not suffer due to someone else’s error.
He was speaking on the sidelines of the inaugural function of the newly built roundabout and the traffic signal at the accident prone area near the Chicalim Panchayat Ghar.
In a veiled attack on the Urban Development Ministry, Godinho said, “Sometimes we try to pull down someone and in that process we slip and fall.”
He said, “If BJP feels that some mistake has occurred in civic polls reservation then the party will take appropriate action. I won’t go into it deeper, but whoever has done it has to face the music and others should not suffer. The government should not be blamed.”
Godinho said he inaugurated the traffic signal keeping in mind that few months ago a young girl died in an accident near this roundabout. Several accidents took place and as solution the traffic signal has been installed here and assured that beautification around Dabolim Airport will take place soon.
