Activists and Ex-Panchayat and Zilla Panchayat members adding up to about 700 people gathered at Mandrem in Pernem under the banner of ‘Save Mhadei Save Goa’ to hammer out a strategy as to how to save River Mhadei.
They discussed how to approach the MLAs and take their support and how to work together to launch a movement. They also decided to keep their political differences aside. They also decided to approach every home and school and create awareness in line with the programme outlined by Save Mhadei Save Goa front.
