PETS workers to get pending increment

PANJIM: Pre-Employment Training Scheme (PETS) employees will finally get their pending increment after the Cabinet gave its approval for the same. However, Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar said there would be no arrears paid.

PANJIM: Pre-Employment Training Scheme (PETS) employees will finally get their pending increment after the Cabinet gave its approval for the same. However, Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar said there would be no arrears paid.
After 2007, the PETS employees were asked to apply for regular vacancies in government departments. Further in 2010, several PETS employees were regularised and posted in various departments in available vacancies as per a government decision.
In 2014, the government extended the benefit of notional fixation of pay considering as regular employees all those who were not regularised before 28/10/2005.
