PANJIM: The Progressive Front of Goa (PFG) has raised its strong objection to the construction of Kannada Bhavan in Goa, at a time when the State is at loggerheads with Karnataka over the Mhadei River water diversion. PFG Convenor Hrudaynath Shirodkar said that the front will strongly oppose the Kannada Bhavan until the Karnataka government withdraws their claim on the Mhadei River.
“We request Goa Chief Minister to reject the proposal out rightly,” Shirodkar said.
