PANJIM: Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant about the incessant rainfall in the State and assured him all kind of support and assistance.
Sawant tweeted, “Hon’ble PM Narendra Modi ji called to inquire about the safety and well-being of the people in the prevailing flooding situation in Goa due to incessant rains. The PM has assured full support and assistance to the State.”

The Chief Minister also spoke to Union Home Minister Amit Shah regarding the flooding situation in Goa due to heavy rains.
“Briefed him (Shah) about the widespread damage caused in the State. The HM assured all the necessary support for carrying out relief activities,” Sawant said in another tweet.
