PANJIM: The new Super Specialty block at Bambolim is likely to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi within the next six months. Health Minister Vishwajit Rane said that the project, the largest Super Specialty hospital of India, has been implemented under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana at the cost Rs 450 crore is nearing completion. “I started this project when I took over as the Health Minister of the state and today it is nearing completion,” Rane added. He said within the next six months, the govt will be commissioning this hospital with a unique public-private partnership approved by the Niti Aayog and the Centre.
