PANJIM: The Project Management Unit- Coding and Robotics Education in Schools (PMU-CARES) established at the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) has signed two Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs).
The first agreement, signed between Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani and PMU-CARES, DTE, focuses on a collaborative research agreement.
The second MoU, inked between MSME – Technology Development Center (PPDC), Meerut – Uttar Pradesh, and Project Management Unit, DTE, Government of Goa, aims at commercialising the PMU’s in-house developed Tools and Technology for Skill Education through a tri-partite agreement involving other States and Organizations.
The MoUs were signed in the presence of Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and Minister for Water Resources Subhash Shirodkar.
Speaking on the occasion, Sawant said the agreements had potential to empower students and teachers in enhancing skills. He highlighted the crucial role the Technology Development Centre will play in contributing to the country’s human resource development for years to come.
