CANACONA: In the gram sabha meeting held at the panchayat office, on Sunday all of the 200-odd villagers present unanimously objected to the notification of the internal roads in the Poinguinim village as MDR roads.
During the meeting, after the villagers objected to the TCP notifying the road from Ordhfond to Talpona and others roads as Major District Road of 25 mts width, a resolution to this effect was unanimously passed during the meeting.
Other issues discussed were house tax assessment and developments in CRZ area, water, electricity and garbage problems.
