BICHOLIM: Bicholim police on Friday registered a case against Pavan Kalangutkar, a resident of Sonarpeth, Bicholim for allegedly attacking police constable Pravin Nasnolkar with pepper spray.
The incident occurred at Shirodwadi, Mulgao when the accused allegedly stopped the constable on duty and attacked him with a pepper spray. He then fled from the spot.
Police said that Kalangutkar took revenge on the constable, who had asked him and his accomplice, riding pillion to accompany him to the police station for moving suspiciously on Thursday night.
When the duo reached the police station, they turned back and fled. But police brought them to the police station on Friday morning and later released them on bail.
Subsequently Kalangutkar followed the constable and attacked him with pepper spray at Shirodwadi, Mulgao. The accused also allegedly threaten the constable with dire consequences. The constable later lodged a complaint.
