MARGAO: Maina Curtorim Police Inspector Kapil Nayak held a meeting with Muslim leaders to discuss the “Zulus” procession to be held on November 10 to mark the Eid Milad un Nabi and they agreed upon three main issues.
In the first place, it was decided to remove all haphazardly parked two-wheelers along the road where the procession will take place, especially near Gogleshwar Temple. Besides, the Muslim community has agreed to illuminate both sides of the road from Marathi/Urdu School to Gogleshwar temple.
Finally, the Muslim community also agreed to inform police about criminals against whom cases have been booked as required under Section 107 of the Criminal Procedure Code.
