Police yet to trace Cuncolim woman missing for 12 days

The family recently received information from a lady known to Rolla that she was on the same bus as her from Margao and that Rolla had gotten off the bus at Cuncolim on September 9.

MARGAO/CUNCOLIM: The family and friends of the D’Souza family from Buinsa, Cuncolim, are distraught as they have not been able to trace the whereabouts of 59-year-old Rolla D’Souza, who has now been missing for 12 days. Rolla went missing on September 9. 

Her husband, Jerry D’Souza, had reported the matter to the Margao Police and the Cuncolim Police Station, with the latter registering a missing person’s report. While the Cuncolim police said they are still searching for her, the family is extremely anxious and are hoping to find her as soon as possible. 

In the complaint, it is mentioned that Jerry, along with his wife and their son Clyde, had travelled to Margao on September 9. This was the last time they saw her. While Jerry and Clyde were on their way to purchase a pump set, Rolla had asked to be dropped off at Grace Church, Margao. Rolla had told them that she would attend mass and return home by bus. She also met her sister 

who lives in Margao and was last seen at the Church around 7 pm.  

However, when she did not reach home, her family called their relatives and friends but as they could not trace her, they filed a police complaint thereafter. 

The family recently received information from a lady known to Rolla that she was on the same bus as her from Margao and that Rolla had gotten off the bus at Cuncolim on September 9. This information has been passed on to the police for their investigation. 

The family has also found CCTV footage of her in Margao.
