PONDA: A portion of a newly tarred road caved in along the Bethora – Borim National Highway on Thursday leaving a massive crater and putting at risk the lives of motorists.
The recently tarred road has developed cracks at the edge with motorists questioning the quality of works done by the contractor.
Locals stated that rain water accumulation on the newly constructed road was the reason behind it caving in. The contractor has now barricaded the area to avoid untoward incidents.
