PANJIM: The Mapusa police has registered an FIR against a resident of Porvorim for allegedly furnishing false information to purchase comunidade land.
According to the police, the accused Rajesh Suhas Verenkar, purchased a property in Comunidade of Serula by providing false information to the Administrator of Comunidades of North Zone, Mapusa.
As per the complaint of Shivprasad Naik, Administrator of Comunidade, North Zone, Mapusa, on November 8, 2011, in the office of the Administrator of Comunidades, North Zone, Vernekar while facilitating the documentation dishonestly prepared and produced affidavit with false information to procure the plot in Comunidade of Serula.
The FIR has been registered under sections 181, 182, 191, 192, 193, 196, 199, 200 and 420 of IPC, police said, adding further investigation is in progress.
