Sunil Desai is the councillor of Ponda Muncipalty and is the BJP candidate for Ponda constituency and though the party declared his name at last hour, he is confident and upbeat when it comes to the campaign trail.
Ponda constituency comprises Ponda Muncipalty and the Curti Khanpepar Panchayat. Compared to the area in volume square km, the voter density is high. He leaves early in the morning for campaigning. Ponda BJP block chief Vishwanath Dalvi who is also councillor is supporting me.
