MARGAO: The potholes ridden roads of Margao are being repaired and the contractor undertaking the repairs will maintain them till June 21, 2020.
This was informed by to Executive Engineer Laxmikant Naik.
The work is being carried out under the defect liability period and 189 metres of road will be repaired which were initially tendered in the financial year 2013-2014.
The road around the Margao Municipal building was supposed to be attended to last night, but then rain gods played spoilsport as a heavy downpour occurred just when the work was to start.
The road in front of Grace Church was repaired the previous night, but the work appears to be done very shoddily as motorists cannot enjoy a smooth ride.
