VASCO: Mormugao Municipal Council (MMC) has started pre-monsoon works and the same are likely to be completed in 20 days, according to Chairman Nandadeep Raut.
Although the entire State, including Vasco, is under lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic, MMC chief officer, engineers and other technical staff and other municipal workers are working everyday
“We have received Rs 15 lakh under 14th Finance Commission from GSUDA. We will soon start pre-monsoon works in all municipal wards. In some wards, the work has already begun and in other wards it will commence shortly, Raut added.
