PORVORIM: In a bizarre incident a pregnant woman was severely injured when two bulls got into an impromptu bull fight on the Porvorim highway, on Wednesday night.
The woman was walking with her other child at around 10.30pm in the vicinity of the Mall at Porvorim when two stray bulls got into a fight. As a result the pregnant woman sustained serious injuries. Fortunately, the child was safe. Passersby immediately called an ambulance and transferred her to the Goa Medical College and Hospital, Bambolim. The incident underscores the need to impound stray cattle which are cause of many accidents.
