MARGAO: History lovers from Canacona and rest of the State have called for the preservation of the historical Canacona Municipal Council building as a heritage site.
“This beautiful Historical Heritage old municipal building at Chaudi-Canacona needs to be saved from demolition. Along with the Canacona group called Goenkar we at the History-Heritage Action Group are trying our best to save it by writing to the Member Secretary conservation committee TCP and other concerned authorities,” said Prajal Sakhardande.
