PANJIM: The Government of India on Wednesday announced President’s Home Guard and Civil Defence Medal for meritorious services to John Aguiar, Company Commander of Home Guards, Panjim Division.
Aguiar who is an officer in the State Department of Information & Publicity had also been awarded the Chief Minister’s Gold Medal for meritorious services in the Home Guards in 2007.
