PANJIM: All India Congress Committee (AICC) leader and MP Rahul Gandhi who is arriving in Goa on today to address party workers convention will also pay floral tribute to the Martyr’s memorial at Azad Maidan, Panjim at 12.30 pm.
Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) president Girish Chodankar said that, Gandhi will arrive at the Dabolim airport at 10 am and will visit Velsao village where he will interact with the fisherfolk community at 10:30 am.
Gandhi will proceed to Panjim to pay floral tribute to the Martry’s Memorial at 12:30 pm and later he will meet the people affected by the closure of mining activity at the Bambolim beach resort at 2:30 pm.
The Congress leader will address the party workers convention “Jagor” at Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Indoor Stadium, Taleigao plateau at 3:15 pm.
