PANJIM: Baba Ramdev Tuesday said that his people would begin a door-to-door campaign to ask the people to vote against corruption, educate the people on black money issue and push for the banking transaction tax.
Pushing for the BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, he told media at a press conference that Modi was the only alternative for the country and he would ensure that the economy would function efficiently. He also pushed for the banking transaction tax saying that if implemented it would reduce implementation by 30 to 50% even as he appealed to all to vote for Modi and predicted that Congress would not get more than 50-60 seats; and Rahul and Sonia would be defeated. He also said that Kejriwal would get some 4-5 seats.
Expressing his confidence in what the chief minister Manohar Parrikar had done he pointed out that the five issues that were brought up by him; namely the MoI issue, evacuee property, illegal mining, casino removal and garbage on road sides were all in various stages of being tackled by him.
He also said that he was starting various projects under his Patanjali Trust like the Gaushala and the Nadishala.
