PANJIM:
When asked for his comments on the Income tax department’s claims that Rs 26.58 cr was paid to Babush to convert agricultural land into settlement areas during his tenure as Chief Minister, he said, “I have nothing to say. You ask the person concerned”
“There may have been attempts to convert the lands but as a chief minister I did not allow it and set aside the Regional Plan 2011 and everybody is witness to it,” he said adding “nothing illegal has happened during my tenure”.
