Rape case: accused claims another cops involvement

The police constable arrested on charges of kidnap and rape of a minor girl has identified another police constable in the crime.
The disgraced constable, Rajesh Sawant, revealed that he along with another constable, who is presently absconding, were involved in taking bribes from an agent and had taken a minor girl to a hotel, where they raped her.
Meanwhile, Sawant, who has been arrested under Sections 384, 366 and 376 IPC, has been remanded to six days police custody by the Pernem JMFC.
