Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar on Tuesday said that those who compared the BJP government in Goa to Nazi rule should read European history and asked people to be cautious against such negative mentality.
“Some people have tried to compare this BJP Goa government with Nazi rule. I advise them to read first the history of Europe, including that of the First and Second World War, then they will realise that when you point one finger at someone, then five fingers are pointing at yourself. We need to be careful of such mentality,” Parrikar said during his Liberation Day speech.
Parrikar further appealed to the people to be cautious against a negative mentality which he said was raising its head in the State.
A Church magazine had run an article that compared the BJP government in the State to that of the Nazis in Germany.
