PANJIM: The State government has granted a three-month extension in service to chief electrical engineer N Neelakanta Reddy.
“Governor of Goa is pleased to grant extension in service to Superintendent Engineer (electrical) N Neelakanta Reddy promoted to the rank of additional chief engineer II (adhoc) and holding the charge of chief electrical engineer beyond the date of his superannuation for a period of three months from August 1 to October 31 in public interest,” states an order by Under Secretary (personnel II) Shashank Thakur.
The order also states that the decision is subject to vigilance clearance concurrence to finance approval and a cabinet decision. The extension is also subject to termination during the extension period without assigning any reason.
