Ex-MLA of St Cruz constituency Victor Gonsalves has appealed to the residents of Santa Cruz constituency who have completed 18 years to get themselves registered as voters by filling form 6 at the earliest as June 30 is the last date to submit forms to Jt Mamlatdar or designated officers of every polling station.
Assuring his help in filling forms, Victor has urged voters to get corrections, deletions, transfers, etc done before the deadline.
Meanwhile, Victor held a meeting with Asst Chief Election Officer (ACEO) Arvind Bugde and discussed difficulties caused to voters due to mistakes, discrepancies in election roll.
Agreeing to the problems faced by voters for no fault of theirs, Arvind Bugde requested all voters to fill the new forms with photographs and informed that officers have already been appointed i.e. dy Collector as Electoral Registration Officer (ERO), joint Mamlatdar as Asst Electoral Registration officer (AERO) and designated officer for every polling station.
