MARGAO: A rickshaw driver responsible for transporting garbage has been warned by the Margao Municipal Council after allegedly neglecting to take proper care of the waste. The driver’s negligent behaviour reportedly resulted in waste and dirty water spilling onto the road near Sonsoddo, leading to a mess and confrontation with a citizen. The incident was brought to the attention of local councillors, who took action against the driver’s negligence and misbehaviour. Chairperson Damodar Shirodkar met with the driver and warned him not to repeat his actions. However, the driver denied all accusations.
