Rough sea attracting many tourists

PERNEM: Many Indian tourists were found enjoying in the rough sea off Morjim beach on Thursday evening.
With dark clouds hovering over the sky and heavy rains accompanied by gusty winds lashing the coast, the sea turned rough. However, Morjim beach had many tourists visiting it on Thursday.
Dhrishti lifeguards were on duty to prevent untoward incidents. 
Saurabh Singh from Punjab said, “It’s a different feeling of enjoying rains on the beach. We actually planned our vacations during this time of the year because we wanted to enjoy this climate. Goa is beautiful specially the Goan beaches”.
However, the Morjim beach is in a mess as workers have not cleaned the beach for a couple of weeks.
Presently, garbage is being picked up by the Morjim Panchayat, however the beach is not being cleaned.
Every Monday, the local panchayats picks up the garbage from the beach.
