VASCO: The Maimollem lake has recieved a grant of Rs 1 crore for reviving Maimollem lake under the ‘Amrut Sarovar Abhiyan’ programme under the first phase.
“This is a proud moment for Vascoites. Reviving and beautifying Maimollem is my dream project and I will do my best to complete it,” Vasco MLA Daji Salkar said.
Due to the ever-expanding area of locality, waste water started to be released into the Maimollem lake.
