Sanguem: All the Sarpanchas and Deputy Sarpanchas to the seven village panchayats in Sanguem taluka were elected unanimously.
The election process went smoothly as the posts were decided before the conduct of the special meeting.
At Uguem panchayat, Bharati Naik was elected as Sarpanch and Ram Phandarmissal as Deputy Sarpanch.
In Bhati, Chandrakant Deu Gaonkar was elected Sarpanch, while Priyanka Rupesh Gaonkar was the deputy while Bunda Varak and Francisco Mascarenhas were elected Sarpanch and deputy in Netravali village panchayat.
In Wadem, Prajot Gaonkar and Antonette Manuel Nogueiro were elected as Sarpanch and deputy, Vaishali Naik and Surya Naik were elected to the post of Sarpanch and deputy in Rivona while Chinmayi Naik and Nitesh Bhandari were elected Sarpanch and deputy in Sanvordem.
