MARGAO: A woman from Sarzora died a tragic death after she burnt herself over family issues.
The 48-year-old woman from Neyawado Sarzora had been going through a rough patch of her married life and was also going through a case of divorce from her husband who is abroad.
According to the police, the woman set herself ablaze and from ground floor of the house went to the first floor clothes where other goods caught fire. The women died and the house was completely gutted in the fire.
The information of the incident was received by the Cuncolim Police station at 5.30 in the morning and the police have registered a case of suicide.
