PANJIM: The State government on Wednesday issued transfer and posting orders for two senior scale officers in the State with immediate effect.
According to an order, Managing Director of Goa Education Development Corporation (GEDC) Siddhivinayak Naik has been transferred and posted as Joint Secretary (Protocol) in place of Mahadev Araundekar, who has been posted as Secretary, Goa State Information Commission.
Director (Administration) of Directorate of Education Varsha Naik has been asked to hold the charge of Managing Director of Goa Education Development Corporation, in addition to her own duties.
Bhushan Savoikar, Project Director, DRDA (North), holding additional charge of Director, Department of Rural Development, will also hold the charge of Director Higher Education in addition to his own duties until further orders, the order said.
By another order the government has asked Prasad G Volvoikar, Director of Public grievances to hold the additional charge of Director of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services, in addition to his own duties, with immediate effect.
Agostinho Misquita, who was the Director of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services has now been posted as managing director of Goa Meat Complex.
