MARGAO: Deputy Chief Minister, Francis D’Souza, who also holds the Revenue portfolio, on Friday said that notifying the de-notified parking land at Dabolim is indeed a problem.
Referring to Curtorim MLA Reginaldo Lourenco’s demand for notification of the de-notified land for airport parking, D’Souza said the matter is sub judice since it is pending in the court. He said the previous government had de-notified the land, while the Communidade claimed that the land belonged to them. “Notifying the de-notified land is a problem. The matter is in the court. It is a fact that parking is a problem,” he said, adding that he would have been happy if the previous government had taken the decision to shift the Navy.
