School students get immersed in celebrations after success of Chandrayaan-3

CUJIRA: School students, who viewed the successful landing of Chandrayaan-3 on Moon in their schools, broke into wild celebrations by dancing and waving the tricolour on Wednesday.

Sharing her emotions with Herald TV, Kajal from Kamleshwar High Secondary School said that it was a proud moment for the Indians that the Chandrayaan-3 landed successfully on Moon.

“It is a very important moment for the youngsters and us students as it sets an example, and encourages us. I feel extremely delighted that India is the first nation to land on the South Pole region of the moon, and I thank all the scientists who have worked day and night to make this mission successful,” she said.

Tejaswi Mahadev Gaonkar, also from the same school, congratulated all the scientists of ISRO for the successful landing of Chandrayaan-3.

“The Vikram lander successfully landed on the South Pole Region of Moon making our nation the 1st country to do so. It is an historical moment for all of us Indians and we are extremely proud about this victory, she said.

A student of Walawalkar Higher Secondary School said, “I am very proud that I witnessed the moment of landing of Chnadrayaan-3 on the Moon. It truly gave me goosebumps. It was a thrilling experience for me. I think this is the moment to be remembered throughout our life. Hopefully one day one of us will be there, serving our country, serving our nation.”
