PANJIM: Goa Police reshuffled its SDPOs across the State as most had completed three years at the same posting, while two who were recently promoted have been given charge. DySP Uttam Raut Desai and Gurudas Gawade were recently promoted and have been given charge of Quepem and Bicholim sub divisions respectively.
DySP Kiran Poduval who was on deputation at Goa Human Rights Commission is now posted as SDPO Porvorim, while DySP Sammy Tavares has been transferred to Crime Branch with additional charge of ANC and ATS. DySP Rajendra Raut Desai has been posted as SDPO Margao, DySP Mahesh Gaonkar as SDPO Ponda, DySP Sunita Sawant as SDPO Vasco and DySP Serafin Dias as SDPO Mapusa. DySP Lawrence D’Souza has been sent to Special Branch Panjim with additional charge of Coastal Police, while DySP Edwin Colaco of Security has been given additional charge of JSOCD Panjim and MT Section.
