After the recent High Court judgement, the Kul Mundkar Sangarsh
Samiti has asked for the settling of the Mundkar cases within six months. The
court has reportedly decreed that the hearing should be conducted in maximum of
three hearings, Dipesh Naik of Kul
Mundkar Sangarsh Samiti stated. They will see what happens in the next six
months and face contempt of court proceedings if required. Presently there are
719 Kul Mundkar cases before the Mamlatdar’s or deputy collector’s court across
Goa.
