MARGAO: The South Goa Planning and Development Authority (SGPDA) has decided not to open the wholesale fish market at Madel on Saturday and Sunday in view of the increasing number of COVID cases in Margao and the fact that social distancing is not observed at this market.
SGPDA Chairman Wilfred alias Babashan D’Sa, in a late evening statement declared the closure of the wholesale fish market for the two days, on May 1 and 2.
