“Delhi people can promise a lot. Gujarat People will come and make an election ‘jumla’ (promise) of special status. But all are coming to cheat Goa and will usurp Goa. It is time to save Goa,” Vijai said.
He said that Goa Forward respects the public sentiment that all those opposed to BJP should come together.
On pre-poll surveys Vijai said, “I am not of the opinion to ban survey or anything for that matter, but if the survey is aimed at diverting attention on issues and influence people, then, there should be a mechanism to neutralise the effects.”
Opining that Goans quickly get angry and also quickly fall in love, Vijai said, “the love for topiwaalas (AAP) from Delhi” vindicated his opinion.
“The Delhi leaders are appearing in Goa during the elections to hoodwink and manipulate Goenkars just to win the elections. Amit Shah and the BJP who blatantly betrayed the whole of India with the promise of giving Rs 15 lakh to every Indian, once the black money was recovered from abroad, has betrayed Goa with the promise of Special Status which to him and the BJP means making Goa a colony of Delhi,” Vijai said.
“Susegad Goans will now be promised fantastic ‘packages’ which will evaporate once polls are over along with those leaders who promised them. This has been seen in J&K and in Bihar,” Vijai warned.
