PANJIM: Social activist Kashinath Shetye filed intervention petitions in all four anticipatory bail applications filed before North Goa District and Session Court in the illegal mining cases of Special Investigation Team (SIT).
Former Chief Minister Digambar Kamat, former Mines Director Arvind Lolienkar, former mines official Agnelo D’Souza and miner Harish Melvani had filed anticipatory bail applications before the court after SIT summoned them for questioning last month. The Court will hear the arguments on all four intervention petitions on July 4.
The court has granted interim relief to Kamat and others in anticipatory bail applications.
