It has been one year since the vendors outside GMC were ousted by the government authorities. Now although the shops outside GMC are ready, they have not been allotted. On meeting the Deputy Collector, vendors were told that the shops will be allocated phase-wise after the Panchayat code of conduct is over. Vendors demanded that the shops be allocated strictly to Goans.
