Shripad’s condition improves further

PANJIM: Goa Medical College and Hospital on Thursday said that Union Ayush Minister Shripad Naik is much better than the previous day and his general condition is improving. 

The bulletin issued by GMC Dean Dr Shivanand Bandekar says all vital parameters of the minister are stable. 

“His blood pressure is normal. He still continues to be on high flow nasal cannula (HFNC) oxygenation and is maintaining 02 saturation of 98%. His urinary and blood tests done today are all within normal limits. Pulse rate is 84 per minute,” Bandekar said.

The bulletin further states that the upper limb dressings were changed on Thursday and wounds are healing well. “He was given mild bed side physiotherapy and was made to sit bed side. His left lower limb physiotherapy was done and chest spirometry started. He was made to sip water sitting bed side. He is under continuous monitoring by a team of GMC doctors,” the bulletin added.
