PONDA: In another major accident, a car and bike were involved in a head on collision, injuring six including one and half year old toddler at Parsol, Usgao, on Monday.
Three seriously injured including the bike rider and two car occupants were shifted to Goa Medical College and Hospital, Bambolim while the other three injured were shifted to Ponda Sub District Hospital.

Those shifted to GMC are learnt to be in serious condition while the other two received fractures along with the bike rider.
The accident took place near the Sheetal Bar late Monday evening. The bike rider, Lala Saini (36), resident of Kapileshwarim, received fractures and was shifted to GMC while his wife Geeta Saini, and their one and half year old son were taken to Sub District Hospital. The car occupants Akash Vagekar (driver) and Ashikesh Vagekar were also shifted to GMC while another occupant Narayan Opkar was shifted to Sub District Hospital.
According to the police, the bike rider was proceeding towards Khandepar from Usgao-Marvasada road while car was proceeding towards Murmune-Sattari via Usgao from Khandepar and when they reached near Sheetal Bar, the accident was occurred.
