Skull found at Malim

Porvorim Police on Monday recovered a male skull, which was found hanging to a tree at Malim.
According to Porvorim Police, police received a call from a shepherd at about 4 pm that human skull was found hanging to the tree at Malim. DySP Mapari, PI Devendra Gad along with his staff rushed to the site found the skull hanging to the tree, while the remaining part of the body was eaten by the animals.
Bones were lying scattered all over the place. Police have also found a bag containing clothes beneath the tree.
PI Gad said that prima facie, it appears that the deceased has committed suicide more than two months ago.
“It is very difficult to identify the body as no documents have been found in the bag,” said PI Gad.
The skull and the bones collected have been sent to GMC Hospital in Bambolim for examination. PI Gad is investigating the case.
