PANJIM: Taking cognizance of news reports published in Herald, Superintendent of Police South Goa, Chandan Choudhary (IPS), summoned three other suspects in connection with the rape and murder of Irish national Danielle McLaughlin.
Herald had reported that Vikat Bhagat, the accused in the case had had written to his sister claiming that he was innocent and that the murder was done by three others.
“I have called all three suspects tomorrow (Thursday). I will personally interrogate them once again,” Choudhary said.
She added that a detailed medical report has also been sought from the doctors. “I have asked SDPO Quepem to get the detailed medical reports from doctors. The preliminary medical report was given to police while details were reserved,” she said.
