VASCO: To clear the extra rush of passengers during the feast of Our Lady Good Health, South Western Railway (SWR) will run special trains to Velankanni from Vasco.
According to Station Manager of Vasco Railway Station P C Chacko, the special trains will leave on August 27 and on September 3, at 11.20 hours ex-Vasco and would reach Velankanni at 13 hours the next day. On return direction, the train will leave Velankanni at 20.15 hours on August 28, and September 4, and will arrive in Vasco the next day at 21.15 hours. The train will run via Margao, Manglore, Shornur and Trichy.
The SWR is also likely to run a third trip on September 6, which is expected to be notified shortly.
