MAPUSA: Calangute police rescued two girls who were soliciting customers in Calangute area.
According to Calangute police, they rescued two girls involved in prostitution activities during early morning on Sunday.
PI Dalvi received information that two girls were moving around Calangute circle area and were soliciting customers for prostitution.
On questioning them, police learnt that one of the two girls was from Maharashtra and the other from West Bengal.
Both the girls were produced before Sub Divisional Magistrate at Mapusa who sent them to Protective Home at Merces.
PI Jivba Daalvi informed that drives to curb such activities will continue.
