The traffic on the roads in Goa has increased considerably and consequently the rate of accidents.
I wish to highlight a potential trouble spot near Mapusa.
The road from Nachinola merges with the road from Bastora before the NH17 crossing and vehicles from Nachinola approach the junction at a high speed from a blind curve thus coming directly into the path of drivers/riders travelling from Mapusa.
The authorities should consider the installation of a speed breaker with appropriate signage to prevent any mishaps.
