PANJIM: The government has notified speed limits for 21 different road stretches across the State.
For all roads in Panjim except Dayanand Bandodkar Marg, the speed limit is 40-Km per hour, also on Banastarim, Siridao and Old and New Mandovi Bridges the speed limit is 40-km per hour. For the Zuari bridge, the limit is 30-km per hour.
On the NH 4A, the speed limit will be 40-km per hour from Divja Circle to Dargah Junction, Old Goa; Haath Katro Khambo-Old Goa to Banastarim bridge (Dhulapi side) and Merces Circle, it will be 70-km per hour.
On NH-17, from KTC Circle, Panjim to Siridao bridge, the speed limit is two-wheeler is 60-km per hour, four-wheelers 70-km per hour and for transport vehicles, the speed limits is 60-km per hour.
From Goa Velha bypass junction via Pilar to Agasaim bypass junction via Pilar and from Miramar Circle to Agasaim bypass junction via Pilar, the speed limits will be 40-km per hour; Jack Sequeira Road- Miramar circle, from Goa Science Centre junction to NIO Circle, it is 60-km per hour, from Old Patto bridge to Four Pillar junction, it is 40-km per hour; NIO Circle Dona Paula to GMC junction, Bambolim -it is 60-km per hour.
